The pain of letting go,
is a wound that cuts so deep,
It tears at our soul,
and keeps us from our sleep.
To love and lose,
is a bitter pill to swallow,
We must face the truth,
and bid our love adieu with a heavy heart and hollow.
But with time,
we learn to heal and grow,
we find the strength to move on,
and embrace a new tomorrow.
