I remember a time when we were considered kings and queens. A time when our castle walls soared high in the sky. I remember when the red color of royalty was more an expectation than a privilege. A time when the streets were covered with gold. I remember when no man, woman, or child knew what it meant to go without. A time when the lands were full of green grass. I remember when the city was filled with laugher. But that was then and the more I reminisce the farther those days seem to be.
