Krakut was colonized by the Xukratic over 3 millennia ago. The abundance of mineral-rich water let the Xukratic grow giant cities that span most of the planet. Despite the generally low populations Xukratic planets can harbor, the population grew far beyond expected for an outer Xukratic colony; rivaling in population even some of the most central Xukratic planets.
