Nudibranchs are a group of soft-bodied marine gastropod mollusks which shed their shells after their larval stage. The Doris Odhneri is completely white in color and is the largest nudibranch on the California Coast growing to a maximum length of 20 cm. However, this one was no bigger than 4 cm.
