After a long day's work. Our colleagues and I went to an Irish bar to celebrate another successful day in reactivating and re-preserving an 8,000-year-old human genome. After leaving the bar, I received a phone call as I was walking towards my vehicle from a private number. I answered hello, the voice on the other end said, "are you Dr. Pickled?" I replied "yes, may I ask who’s calling?" The mysterious voice replied, "are you interested in a jar full of fetus remains dated back over the 14th century?" I asked the mysterious voice, "How do you know that it was dated over the 14th century?" The voice replied, "I had worked for a company called D&D BioHack and extensive testing was done before I..." The voice over the phone pauses and restarts the conversation, saying, "I heard that you was a collector and reseller of black market human remains." I quickly hung up the phone, the individual called back aggressively and began to tell me if I was either interested or not. I told the voice over the phone to never call this number again until we've met in person, they agreed. Two hours later we met up outside a coffee shop. To my delight, the "voice" was a beautiful caramel grayish hazel-eyed bombshell. She proceeds to ask me, "Are you Dr. Pickled?" I replied, "yes." How did you get my number? She stated that "it's neither here nor there on how I got your number. Do you want the remains or not?" I demanded that she showed me the goods first before we proceeded any further. She then pulled a jar out of her locked purse. We negotiated within under five minutes. It was as if she was glad to get rid of the remains. I asked her if there was any additional information in regards to the remains within the jar, she said yes! Be extremely careful because, for some reason, anyone who comes in contact with the remains mysteriously loses their firstborn. It sounded almost biblical.
