Hello world, Blew Shews here! I’m so excited to show you a little piece of myself through my paintings. Well, at least show them to you virtually. And you know what, I’m actually a bit of an introvert, so this is probably for the best! As you can probably tell by now, my art isn’t exactly “normal”, but who cares? Normal sucks, anyway. I like to express myself through weird, bright, and crazy colors. Art is supposed to be a door to the imagination and my mind is full of strange colors and images. And food, too. I completely adore making art about food! Basically, I create what’s on my mind and I try to make it unique and colorful. My favorite mediums are watercolor and acrylics since the bright colors come out beautifully. But I know all too well that life is changing, so I’m open to new styles, too. So you know, why shouldn’t the next change in my art be the move to making it my job? Because when I’m making art, I feel like I am finally myself and I want to feel like that forever. Besides, the point of a job is to contribute something to society. And I want to share my passion for food, beauty, and peculiarities with the world. Actually, it’s more than that! I have something to say to the world and I can speak it loudest through my art. The world will see my true self! My unique, colorful, beautiful self. And if just one other person finds my art and realizes they also like weird things and bright colors and interesting food, then my job is done.
