A Fish-Eating Anemone found in Monterey Bay, CA on 2/26/22. This particular species has sturdy tentacles used to trap small fish and shrimp, unlike most other sea anemones which are filter feeders. Their size is determined by how plentiful or how scarce food is in their environment.
