At one point in my life when I was a stocker-boy at a local health food store, I was asking people the question "if you could tell everyone in the world one thing, what would it be?" most answers were pretty basic like "climate change is real", "don't worry, be happy", and "love is the change". All great answers but never one that gets you thinking. Then one time I ask this girl Gabriel from a local hippie cafe who was delivering the locally grown micro greens. Her response has stuck to me to this day... "TIMING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN TIME", which makes you think and really makes you want to ask more questions! Later that week I was traveling up into the home mountains to capture the change of seasons in the fall and I was kind of getting frustrated because I was in this gorgeous place, with stunning color and I felt my art wasn't fully capturing the feeling. On my way home I noticed the moon for the first time in the day and it was setting over the mountains in the south. I quickly pulled over, set up a composition with my camera, and captured this piece of eARTh. One of those photos which gives you that ecstatic energy, the "I got the shot" energy, the energy from the creative force. Here I realized what she meant by "timing is more important than time", the way things work out are usually the way they are supposed to. The time might feel right and when it doesn't go the way we imagined we as humans get emotional, frustrated. Although, trusting the timing of the Universe is far more important than worrying about our own personal agendas.  Check out that link if want to see what will happen if you buy this!
