The yellow color predominates, given its luminosity that contrasts with the darker green. Depending on how you look at it, the red petals appear to be entering or exiting the scene, creating intrigue in the spiraling motion. This is one of the few paintings in the collection in which the wind does not look destructive but cheerful, being playful and candid.
